UPS

In 2001 NEUHAUS started producing its own branded UPS – uninterruptable power supply units (of a large power rate) in its Italian factories.

All the NEUHAUS UPS units represent full-cycle development projects, starting from design and sample testing and ending with serial production. The power rate of produced units ranges from 10 to 200 kVA per unit with a possibility of installing up to 8 units in parallel.

NEUHAUS engineers managed to significantly increase the range of acceptable UPS input voltage, which allowed decreasing the general statistic period of units’ operation in autonomous mode with power supply from accumulator batteries.

In 2009 a series production of the new NeuHaus UPS models was launched. The new model ranges were NEUHAUS PowerSystem Partner and PoweSystem Advanced. The main distinctive feature of these new UPS models was the implementation of the innovative IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) technology with a new rectifier on the basis of IGBT-semiconductors instead of the usual thyristor scheme and with a transformer on the inverter output. The given technology allows carrying out smart digital monitoring of the UPS operational modes, providing an output voltage of the highest quality.

NEUHAUS project department collaborates with the production engineering departments on a constant basis, performing an on-going quality control and participating in developing new UPS product ranges.
